Isolde is an aasimar cleric that comes with her outfit, stand, travel blanket, wings, flag, bag, incense censer, two pairs of shoes, a bracelet for the purchaser, extra hair ties, and extra hands. The doll and stand have been modified by hand, and all her accessories are entirely handmade. Modifications and care instructions. Factory blythe, blygirl brand, azone body. Replaced eyes with glass cabochons from nixcreations. Face sanded and carved. Face primed and sealed with mr. Super clear, then painted with acrylics and water-color pencils. Neck joint added using a metal ball joint from dollswithlis. Pull strings created with high quality beading string and high quality glass, acrylic, and metal beads. Earing holes created and swarovski crystal earrings have been attached. Knee joints have been reinforced with screws. Clothing and accessories are hand sewn and hand crocheted. Where applicable, water-proof gorilla fabric super glue has been used. The base of her stand has been replaced with a marble tile to better balance her weight. Isolde will come wrapped in her crocheted blanket and bubble wrap. She comes with her outfit, which includes a crocheted leotard and kimono inspired robe and tie. She also has a pair of handmade sandals, and modified barbie heels. She comes with a flag bearing the symbol of her sun deity, and her spell casting focus-an incense censer. She also has a shoulder bag, a few extra hair ties, extra hands, and a bracelet for the purchaser. Isolde is hand modified, and as one of my first dolls has a few imperfections. Her nostril holes are not balanced and she has a few small scratches visible upon close inspection. Her hands are slightly lighter than her skin, and some of the metal pieces used in her accessories are not a perfect color match for each other. Isolde is fragile, and i recommend the following guide for keeping her in the best possible shape. Keep isolde dry, and limit her exposure to the outdoors. While she is painted with high quality acrylics, lengthy sunlight exposure and extreme temperatures may affect her face-up and clothing. If she gets dirty, a gentle surface scrub of soap and water should suffice. While her clothing can be taken off, it is not recommended. I recommend buttoning her obe, (waist tie), around the stand as this will help her remain in place. The obe can be removed quite easily, but the button is glued in place and excessive use is not recommended. Her wings are attached through the back of her robe and tied around her arms or waist. You can remove the robe without removing the wings, or you can just remove the wings, but they will need to be reattached to the robe while it is off her. The leotard can be removed by untying a string around the back of her neck that holds the halter in place. The leotard can then be pulled off her body, over the legs. The two sides of her leotard are tied together. These can be loosened and adjusted if desired. Because parts of the leotard are tied with very small knots, removing them, while possible, is not recommended. Her wings can be gently bent to open or close more as desired. Her lace bandana can be removed without issue. Isolde’s hair has been fixed by making holes between two hair ties and pushing the tail through. Remove the hair ties and tousle with fingers before brushing to prevent snags. When brushing or combing her hair, use a brush or comb that has not been used on human hair, since this can get oils on the doll’s hair.
