Here are kathe kruse twin doll girls, both made in 1987, one in march, the second in july, both with their original paper tags and marked on their feet. One has blue eyes, the other brown eyes. Both redheaded girls are in mint condition with their original clothes, synthetic heads, genuine human hair, and delicately hand painted features. They are of the 35h type; until 1955 this doll was called doll ix, or the little german child, first produced in 1929, from 1955 on the name changed to 35h, meaning doll stands 35 cm / 13 inches tall. They have different pairs of shoes, but both original. Our twin kruse girls here look a bit like lottie and lisa two characters from a 1949 novel by erich kastner (original title is das doppelte lottchen), still an immensely popular book.
