Maracas Needle Felt Doll
Some say that “maracas” came from africa and others say from native indians. I see maracas used in latin america for festivities and decoration. This instrument made from gourds, is also used in their art, crafts and paintings. This felted doll is ready for the parade and fiestas with maracas in hand. Her skirt is made of styrofoam covered in felted wool. The bottom of styrofoam is covered with a piece of black felt sheet and blanket stitched for an aded touch. She is 12in tall, 4in wide and weighs 3.3oz. Custom orders must be paid in adavance. Made for decoration purposses. Dolls are similar, not identical. One of a kind. This item is made of felted wool and styrofoam, felt sheet, chenille stem, embroidery thread.
